If the message TRANSMIT appears on the HomeLink
display but you r device does not activate, the device may
be equ ipped with aЉrolling codeЉ system . Continu e with
step s five throu gh seven below to complete the program -
ming of a rolling code equ ipped device (most commonly
a garage door opener).
7. Retu rn to the vehicle and firm ly press, hold for two
second s and release the program med HomeLink button.
Repeat the Љpress/ hold / releaseЉ sequ ence a second time,
and , depend ing on the brand of the garage door opener
(or other rolling code equ ipped device), rep eat this
sequ ence a third time to complete the program ming
process.

At the garage door opener receiver (motor-head unit)
in the garage, locate the ЉlearnЉ or ЉsmartЉ button. This
can usually be found where the hanging antenna wire is
attached to the motor-head unit.
HomeLink shou ld now activate you r rolling code
equ ipped device.
NOTE: To program the rem aining two HomeLink but-
tons, simply rep eat the ЉProgram ming HomelinkЉ pro-
cess.
6.
Firmly press and release the ЉlearnЉ or ЉsmartЉ button.

factu rer.)

step .
