The keys for you r new vehicle are enclosed in a plastic
bag with the key code nu mber on it. If you received you r
keys withou t the bag, ask you r dealer to give you the
nu mber. The key code can also be obtained by the dealer
from you r vehicle invoice.
IgnitionKey
Insert the key fully, then turn the switch to one of the four
illustrated positions. The key can be inserted or with-
draw n only in the LOCK position. The autom atic trans-
mission gear selector must be in the P (Park) position.
To rem ove the ignition key on models with an autom atic
transm ission, place the gearshift lever in P (Park), turn
the ignition key to LOCK and rem ove the key.
