WARNING!
Raise the seatback and lock it into place. If interference
from the cargo area prevents the seatback from fully
locking, you will have difficulty retu rning the seat to its
prop er position. The seat release hand le will be flush
with the seatback when the seat is fully latched .
Be certain that the seatback is securely locked into
position.Iftheseatbackinnotsecurelylockedinto
positiontheseatwillnotprovidetheproperstability
for child seats and/or passengers. An improperly
latchedseatcouldcauseseriousinjury.

NOTE:
If the rear seatback is not fully latched , the
center shou lder belt will not be able to be extend ed for
use. If you cannot extend the center shou lder belt, please
make sure you r seatback is fully latched .
