WindshieldWiperOperation
Push down on the wiper lever to activate a single wipe to
clear off road mist or spray from a passing vehicle. As
long as the lever is held down, the wipers will continu e
to operate.
Turn the control lever end cap upward to the middle
mark (sixth detent) for Low speed wiper operation, or to
the upper mark (seventh detent) for High speed opera-
tion.

IntermittentWiperSystem
CAUTION!
Use the interm ittent wiper when weather cond itions
make a single wiping cycle, with a variable pause be-
tween cycles, desirable. Move the control lever to any of
the first five wiper switch positions by turning the end
cap of the control lever. The delay can be regu lated from
a maxim um of approxim ately 18 second s betw een cycles,
to a cycle every second .
In cold weather, always turn off the wiper switch
andallowthewiperstoreturntotheparkposition
beforeturningofftheengine.Ifthewiperswitchis
left on and the wipers freeze to the windshield,
damage to the wiper motor may occur when the
vehicleisrestarted.
