NOTE: The engine will typ ically start within 10 sec-

Turn the ignition to START and crank the engine a
maxim um of 10 second s. The engine shou ld start and
rem ain running.
NOTE: If the engine does not start, rep eat the cycle as
many times as necessary.
ENGINEBLOCKHEATER—IFEQUIPPED
The engine block heater warm s engine coolant and
perm its quicker starts in cold weather. Connect the cord
to a stand ard 110-115 volt AC electrical outlet with a
grou nd ed, three wire extension cord . The engine block
heater cord is found und er the hood clipped to the heater
line on the left side of the engine (3.7L only).
HandPrimePump
Turn the ignition to START and crank the engine a
maxim um of 10 second s. If the engine does not start,
rep eat Step 3.
