OperatingInstructions—CDPlayer
If ignition power or the rad io ON/ OFF switch are turned
off, the pinch roller will autom atically retract to protect
the tap e from any damage. When power is restored to the
tap e player, the pinch roller will autom atically reengage
and the tap e will resu me play.
NOTE: The ignition switch must be in the ON or ACC
position and the volu me control ON before the CD player
will operate.
CAUTION!
NoiseReduction
The Dolby Noise Reduction System * is on whenever the
tap e player is on, but may be switched off.
This CD player will accept 4 3⁄4 inch (12 cm) discs
only. The use of other sized discs may damage the
CDplayermechanism.
To turn off the Dolby Noise red uction System : Press the
Dolby button (button 2) after you insert the tap e. The NR
light in the display will go off when the Dolby System is
off. The Dolby System is autom atically reactivated each
time a tap e is inserted .
InsertingTheCompactDisc
The CD player contained within the rad io is not a
multi-d isc changer, and will only accep t one CD. Gently
insert one CD into the CD player with the CD label facing
up. The CD will autom atically be pulled into the CD
Player.
