The    speedometer    indicates    the     approximate number of  engine revo-
speed of the vehicle and is calibrated    lutions  per minute (rpm).

meters per hour (km/h).

Use the tachometer to select the cor-
rect shift  points  and to  prevent lug-
ging and/or over-revving the engine.
