whentheengineisnotrunning,orinapositionbetweenonandstart,or
byapplyingtheparkingbrakewhentheignitionisturnedtotheon
position.Ifthebrakesystemwarninglightdoesnotilluminateatthis
time,seekserviceimmediatelyfromanauthorizedMazdadealer.
Illuminationafterreleasingtheparkingbrakeindicateslowbrakefluid
levelandthebrakesystemshouldbeinspectedimmediatelybyan
authorizedMazdadealer.
WARNING:Drivingavehiclewiththebrakesystemwarning
lightonisdangerous.Asignificantdecreaseinbraking
performancemayoccur.Itwilltakeyoulongertostopthevehicle.
Havethevehiclecheckedbyyourauthorizeddealer.Drivingextended
distanceswiththeparkingbrakeengagedcancausebrakefailureand
theriskofpersonalinjury.
Anti-lockbrakesystem(ABS):If
theABSlightstaysilluminatedor
ABS
continuestoflash,amalfunctionhas
beendetected,havethesystem
servicedimmediatelybyan
authorizedMazdadealer.Normalbrakingisstillfunctionalunlessthe
brakesystemwarninglightalsoisilluminated.
