Ifyouhaverunoutoffuel:

Youmayneedtocycletheignitionfromofftoonseveraltimesafter
refuelingtoallowthefuelsystemtopumpthefuelfromthetankto
theengine.Onrestarting,crankingtimewilltakeafewsecondslonger
thannormal.

Normally,adding1gallon(3.8L)offuelisenoughtorestartthe
engine.Ifthevehicleisoutoffuelandonasteepgrade,morethan
1
gallon(3.8L)mayberequired.
TheServiceenginesoon      indicatormaycomeon.Formore
informationonthe“serviceenginesoon”indicator,refertoWarning
lightsandchimesintheInstrumentClusterchapter.
Refillingwithaportablefuelcontainer
WiththeEasyFuel™“nocap”fuelsystem,usethefollowingdirections
whenfillingfromaportablefuelcontainer:
WARNING:Donotinsertthenozzleofportablefuelcontainers
oraftermarketfunnelsintotheEasyFuel™system.Thiscould
damagethefuelsystemanditsseal,andmaycausefueltorunonto
thegroundinsteadoffillingthetank,whichcouldresultinserious
personalinjury.
WARNING:DonottrytopryopenorpushopentheEasy
Fuel™systemwithforeignobjects.Thiscoulddamagethefuel
systemanditssealandcauseinjurytoyouorothers.
Whenfillingthevehicle’sfueltankfromaportablefuelcontainer,usethe
includedfunnel.

therearpassengersidecargo
compartmentaccessdoor.
