CHANGING THE WIPER BLADES
1.
Pullthewiperbladeandarm
awayfromtheglass.Turnthe
bladeatarightangletothe
arm.
2.
Squeezethelockingtabsto
releasethebladefromthearm
andpullthebladeawayfrom
thearmtoremoveit.
3.
Attachthenewbladetothearmandsnapitintoplace.
Replacewiperbladesatleastonceperyearforoptimumperformance.
Poorwiperqualitycanbeimprovedbycleaningthewiperbladesandthe
windshield,refertoWindowsandwiperbladesintheCleaning
chapter.
Toprolongthelifeofthewiperblades,itishighlyrecommendedto
scrapeofftheiceonthewindshieldbeforeturningonthewipers.The
layeroficehasmanysharpedgesandcandamagethemicroedgeofthe
wiperrubberelement.
