YourvehiclemaybeequippedwithTrailerSwayControl(TSC).When
properlyequipped,trailerswaycontrolwillusethesensorsofthe
vehicle’sElectronicStabilityControlsystemtodetectandattemptto
mitigatetrailerswaybyapplyingbrakeforceatindividualwheelsand,if
necessary,byreducingenginepower.Nodriveractionisrequired.
WARNING:Trailerswaycontroldoesnotpreventatrailerfrom
swaying,itmitigatestheswayfromincreasingonceithas
occurred.TSCcannotstopalltrailersfromswaying.Ifyouare
experiencingtrailersway,itislikelythatthetrailerisimproperly
loadedforthecorrecttongueweightorthespeedofthevehicleand
traileristoohigh.Pullthevehicle-trailerovertoasafelocationto
checkthetrailerweightdistributionandtongueloadandreducespeed
toasafelevelwhiletowing.Iftrailerswayisexperienced,SLOW
DOWN.Alwaysusecautionwhentowingatrailerandfollowthe
tongueweightrecommendations.RefertotheTrailertowingsection
intheTiresWheelsandLoadingchapterofthisowner’smanual
formoreinformationontowingatrailerwithyourvehicle.
