WINDOWS AND WIPER BLADES
Thewindshield,rearandsidewindowsandthewiperbladesshouldbe
cleanedregularly.Ifthewipersdonotwipeproperly,substancesonthe
vehicle’sglassorthewiperbladesmaybethecause.Thesemayinclude
hotwaxtreatmentsusedbycommercialcarwashes,waterrepellant
coatings,treesap,orotherorganiccontamination;thesecontaminants
maycausesqueakingorchatternoisefromtheblades,andstreakingand
smearingofthewindshield.Tocleantheseitems,followthesetips:

Thewindshield,rearwindowsandsidewindowsmaybecleanedwith
anon-abrasivecleanersuchasUltra-ClearSprayGlassCleaner
(0000–77–400E-01
and0000–77–400E-02),availablefromyour
authorizedMazdadealer.
•
Thewiperbladescanbecleanedwithisopropyl(rubbing)alcoholora
windshieldwasherconcentrate.Thiswasherfluidconcentratecontains
aspecialsolutioninadditiontoalcoholwhichhelpstoremovethehot
waxdepositedonthewiperbladeandwindshieldfromautomatedcar
washfacilities.Besuretoreplacewiperbladeswhentheyappear
wornordonotfunctionproperly.

Donotuseabrasives,astheymaycausescratches.
Donotusefuel,kerosene,orpaintthinnertocleananyparts.
INSTRUMENT PANEL / INTERIOR TRIM AND CLUSTER LENS
Cleantheinteriortrimareasandinstrumentpanelwithadampcloth,
thenwithaclean,drycloth,oruseMazdaDeluxeLeatherandVinyl
Cleaner(0000-77-430E-15).

Avoidcleanersorpolishthatincreasetheglossoftheupperportionof
theinstrumentpanel.Thedullfinishinthisareahelpsprotectthe
driverfromundesirablewindshieldreflection.

Donotusehouseholdorglasscleaners,asthesemaydamagethe
finish.
WARNING:Donotusechemicalsolventsorstrongdetergents
whencleaningthesteeringwheel,instrumentpanelorinterior
trimareastoavoidcontaminationoftheairbagsystems.

Becertaintowashorwipeyourhandscleanifyouhavebeenin
contactwithcertainproductssuchasinsectrepellentandsuntan
lotioninordertoavoidpossibledamagetotheinteriorpainted
surfaces.
