Tire change procedure
WARNING:Whenoneofthefrontwheelsisofftheground,the
transmissionalonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingor
slippingoffthejack,evenifthevehicleisinP(Park)(automatic
transmission)orR(Reverse)(manualtransmission).
WARNING:Topreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyou
changeatire,besuretheparkingbrakeisset,thenblockboth
sidesofthewheelthatisdiagonallyopposite(othersideandendof
thevehicle)tothetirebeingchanged.
WARNING:Changingatireisdangerousifnotdoneproperly.If
thevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelsecouldbe
seriouslyinjured.Besuretofollowthedirectionsforchangingatire,
andnevergetunderavehiclethatissupportedonlybyajack.
