Seating and Safety Restraints
WARNING:Placingachild,12yearsoryounger,inthefront
seatisdangerous.Thechildcouldbehitbyadeployingairbag
andbeseriouslyinjuredorevenkilled.Asleepingchildismorelikely
toleanagainstthedoorandbehitbythesideairbag(ifequipped)ina
moderatecollision.Wheneverpossible,alwayssecureachild,12years
oryounger,intherearseat,withanappropriatechildrestraintsystem
forthechild’sageandsize.Neverusearear-facingchildrestraint
systeminthefrontseatwithanairbagthatcoulddeploy.
WARNING:Frontandrearseatoccupants,includingpregnant
women,shouldwearseatbeltsforoptimumprotectioninan
accident.
Combination lap and shoulder  belts
1.
Insertthebelttongueintothe
properbuckle(thebuckle
closesttothedirectionthe
tongueiscomingfrom)until
youhearasnapandfeelit
latch.Makesurethetongueis
securelyfastenedinthebuckle.
2.
Tounfasten,pushtherelease
buttonandremovethetongue
fromthebuckle.
Load Limiter Feature
•
Thisvehiclehasaseatbeltsystemwithaloadlimiterfeatureatthe
frontandrearoutboardseatingpositionstohelpfurtherreducethe
riskofinjuryintheeventofahead-oncollision.
