PassengerAirbagStatus
Whenthevehicleisstarted, the
passenger airbagstatusindicator
willlightthewordsONandOFF,
orthesymbolsforonandoff,for
severalsecondsasasystemcheck.
Ifthevehiclehasremotestart,andit
isbeingusedtostartthevehicle
fromadistance, youmaynotsee
thesystemcheck.Then,after
severalmoreseconds,thestatus
indicator willlighteitherONorOFF,
oreithertheonoroffsymbol,tolet
youknowthestatusoftherightfront
passenger frontalairbag.

airbagstatusindicator.
Theairbagreadiness lightcomeson
andstaysonforseveralseconds
whenthevehicleisstarted. Then
thelightgoesout.

Iftheairbagreadiness lightstays
onafterthevehicleisstartedor
comesonwhiledriving, itmeans
theairbagsystemmightnotbe
workingproperly.Theairbagsin
thevehiclemightnotinflateina
crash,ortheycouldeveninflate
withoutacrash.Tohelpavoid
injury,havethevehicleserviced
rightaway.
IfthewordONortheonsymbolis
litonthepassenger airbagstatus
indicator,itmeansthattheright
frontpassenger frontalairbagis
enabled(mayinflate).
