Aninternal thermostat inthe
plug-end ofthecordmayexist
whichwillpreventenginecoolant
heateroperation attemperatures
above−18°C(0°F).

fullyinP(Park)withtheparking
brakefirmlyset.Thevehiclecan
roll.Ifyouhavelefttheengine
running, thevehiclecanmove
suddenly.Youorotherscouldbe
injured. Tobesurethevehiclewill
notmove,evenwhenyouareon
fairlylevelground,usethesteps
thatfollow.Ifyouarepullinga
trailer,seeDrivingCharacteristics

Plugging thecordintoan
ungrounded outletcouldcausean
electrical shock.Also,thewrong
kindofextension cordcould
overheatandcauseafire.You
couldbeseriously injured. Plug
thecordintoaproperly grounded
three-prong 110-voltACoutlet.
Ifthecordwillnotreach,usea
heavy-duty three-prong extension
cordratedforatleast15amps.

electrical cord.Thecordis
locatednearthedriversidestrut
tower.

settheparkingbrake.

accesstheplug.
