Youorotherscouldbeinjuredif
caughtinthepathofthepower
liftgate. Makesurethereisnoone
inthewayoftheliftgate asitis
openingandclosing.
Manualoperation ofaliftgate that

moreeffortthanwithastandard
manualliftgate.
Thepowerliftgate hasthreemodes
ofoperation. Modeselection is
controlled bytheinterior mode
switchlocatedonthedriverdoor.
IneithertheMAXorthe¾mode,
theliftgate canbepoweropened
andclosedby:

withoutchecking foroverhead
obstructions suchasagarage
door,youcoulddamagethe
liftgate ortheliftgate glass.
Alwayschecktomakesurethe
areaaboveandbehindtheliftgate
isclearbeforeopeningit.
Choosethepowerliftgate modeby
turningthedialontheswitchuntil
theindicator linesupwiththe
desiredposition.
