oilseveralminutestodrainback
intotheoilpan.Ifthisisnot
done,theoildipstick mightnot
showtheactuallevel.

Liftandremovetheengine
cover.

reinstall enginecover.

Pulloutthedipstick andcleanit
withapapertowelorcloth,
EngineOil
thenpushitbackinalltheway.
Removeitagain,keepingthetip
down,andcheckthelevel.
CheckingEngineOil
Itisagoodideatochecktheengine
oillevelateachfuelfill.Inorderto
getanaccurate reading, theoil
mustbewarmandthevehiclemust
beonlevelground.
WhentoAddEngineOil
Iftheoilisbelowthecross-hatched
areaatthetipofthedipstick,
addatleastoneliter/quart ofthe
recommended oil.Thissection
explains whatkindofoiltouse.

Toremove:
Theenginecoverconsists of
twopieces.Onlythelargerfront
pieceneedstoberemovedto
accesstheengineoilandpower
steering fillcaps.
