Afterapowerloss,suchas
VehicleStorage
disconnecting thebatteryor
removing themaxifusesinthe
powerdistribution fuseblock,the
following stepsmustbeperformed
tocalibrate theelectronic throttle
control. Ifthisisnotdone,the
enginewillnotrunproperly.
Thebattery isinthetrunk,behind
thetrimpanel,onthepassenger
sideofthevehicle.  Refertothe
replacement numbershownonthe
original batterylabelwhenanew
batteryisneeded.
{WARNING
Batteries haveacidthatcanburn
youandgasthatcanexplode.
Youcanbebadlyhurtifyouare
notcareful. SeeJumpStartingon
page9‑103fortipsonworking
aroundabatterywithout

charger.
Startandruntheengineforat
least30seconds.
