Thesecurity light,locatedinthe
instrument panelcluster,comeson
ifthereisaproblemwitharmingor
disarming thetheft-deterrent
system.
Ifthealarmhasbeenactivated, the

Thevehicleisautomatically
immobilized whenthekeyis
removedfromtheignition.
Thesystemisautomatically
disarmed whenthevehicleis
Whentryingtostartthevehicle, the
security lightcomesonbrieflywhen
theignitionisturnedon.
Immobilizer
startedwiththecorrectkey.Thekey
usesatransponder thatmatchesan
immobilizer controlunitinthe
vehicleandautomatically disarms
thesystem.Onlythecorrectkey
startsthevehicle. Thevehiclemay
notstartifthekeyisdamaged.

anotherkey.
