Thecoolingsystemallowsthe
enginetomaintainthecorrect
workingtemperature.
Anelectric enginecoolingfan
underthehoodcanstartupeven
whentheengineisnotrunning
andcancauseinjury.Keep
hands,clothing, andtoolsaway
fromanyunderhood electric fan.
Whenyoudecideitissafetoliftthe
hood,hereiswhatyouwillsee:

miles)or24months,
whichever occursfirst.Any
repairswouldnotbecoveredby
thevehiclewarranty.Alwaysuse
DEX-COOL®(silicate-free) coolant
inthevehicle.

EngineCoolant
Thecoolingsysteminthevehicle
forallenginesandtheintercooler
isfilledwithDEX-COOL® .This
coolantisdesigned toremaininthe
vehicleforfiveyearsor240000km
(150,000 miles),whichever occurs
first.
Donotruntheengineifthereisa
leak.Ifyouruntheengine,it
couldloseallcoolant. Thatcould
causeanenginefire,andyou
couldbeburned.Getanyleak
fixedbeforeyoudrivethevehicle.
