SeatsandRestraints
Ifthechildrestraint  doesnothave
theLATCHsystem,youwillbe
usingthesafetybelttosecurethe
childrestraint inthisposition.
Besuretofollowtheinstructions
thatcamewiththechildrestraint.
Securethechildinthechildrestraint
whenandastheinstructions   say.
Ifmorethanonechildrestraint
needstobeinstalled  intherear
seat,besuretoreadWheretoPut
theRestraint onpage2‑49.

Putthechildrestraint  on
theseat.
3.
Pushthelatchplateintothe
buckleuntilitclicks.
4. Pulltherestoftheshoulder   belt
allthewayoutoftheretractor    to
setthelock.

Pickupthelatchplate,andrun
thelapandshoulder  portions of
thevehicle's safetybeltthrough
oraroundtherestraint.  Thechild
restraint instructions willshow
youhow.
Position thereleasebuttonon
thebucklesothatthesafetybelt
couldbequicklyunbuckled  if
necessary.
