DriverShiftControl(DSC)allows
youtoshiftanautomatic
transmission similartoamanual
transmission.
SPORTMODEwillbedisplayed
intheDICmomentarily.
Thevehiclewillremaininsport
modeiftheshiftleverisnot
moved.Sportmodewillshift
automatically butremainina
gearlongerthenitwouldin
normaldrivingmodebasedon
brakingandacceleration.
DSCcanbeenabledthroughthe
shiftleverortheTapShiftcontrols,
locatedonthebackofthesteering
wheel(ifequipped).
Notice: Spinning thetiresor
holdingthevehicleinoneplace
onahillusingonlythe
accelerator pedalmaydamage
thetransmission. Ifyouare
stuck,donotspinthetires.
Whenstopping onahill,usethe
brakestoholdthevehiclein
place.
TousetheDSCfeatureusingthe
shiftlever:
2. TogofromsportmodetoDSC,
movetheshiftleverforwardto
upshiftorrearward todownshift.
1. Movetheshiftlevertothe
rightfromD(Drive)to
M(ManualMode).

WheninDSC,youcanexitback
intosportmodebycontinuously
holdingtheshifterinthe
upshift(forward) position for
approximately onesecond.
OnceinM(ManualMode)
position, ifyoudonotmovethe
shiftleverforwardorrearward,
thevehiclewillbeinsportmode.
Whenyouareinsportmode
thevehiclewillstillshift
automatically.Thetransmission
mayremaininagearlonger
thanitwouldinthenormal
drivingmodebasedonbraking,
throttle input,andvehiclelateral
acceleration.

DriverShiftControl(DSC)or
TapShift
Notice: Ifyoudrivethevehicleat
highRPMswithoutupshifting
whileusingDriverShiftControl
(DSC),youcoulddamagethe
vehicle. Alwaysupshiftwhen
necessary whileusingDSC.
