UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
NOTE: Turning the head lights on during the daytim e
causes the instru ment panel lights to dim. To increase the
brightness, refer to “Lights” in Section 3 of this manu al.
“Turn Head ligh ts On with Rem ote Key Unlock ”
When this featu re is selected , the head lights will activate
and rem ain on for up to 90 second s when the doors are
unlocked with the rem ote keyless entry transm itter. To
make you r selection, press and release the FUNCTION
SELECT button until “OFF,” “30 sec.,” “60 sec.,” or “90
sec.” appears.
“Delay Turning Head ligh ts Off”
When this featu re is selected , the driver can choose to
have the head lights rem ain on for 0, 30, 60, or 90 second s
when exiting the vehicle. To make you r selection, press
and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until “0,”
“Delay Pow er Off to Accessories Until Exit”
When this featu re is selected , the power wind ow
switches, rad io, hand s–free system (if equ ipped), DVD
vid eo system (if equ ipped), power sunroof (if equ ipped),
and power outlets will rem ain active for up to 60 minu tes
after the ignition switch is turned off. Opening a vehicle
door will cancel this featu re. To make you r selection,
press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button until
“Off,” “45 sec.,” “5 min.,” “10 min.,” “30 min.,” or “60
min.” appears.

“Tilt Mirrors Down in Reverse” — If Equipped
When ON is selected , the outsid e rearview mirrors will
tilt downw ard when the ignition switch is in the ON
position and the transm ission is in the “R” (Reverse)
position. The mirrors will move back to their previou s
position when the transm ission is shifted out of “R”
(Reverse). To make you r selection, press and release the
FUNCTION SELECT button until “ON ” or “OFF” ap-
pears.
