The electronically controlled transm ission provid es a
precise shift sched ule. The transm ission electronics are
self-calibrating. Therefore, the first few shifts on a new
vehicle may be som ewhat abru pt or soft until after the
break-in period . This is a norm al cond ition, and pre-
cision shifts will develop within a few shift cycles.
WARN ING!
Uninten ded movem ent of a veh icle could injure
those in and near the veh icle. As with all veh icles,
you should never exit a veh icle while the engin e is
running. Before exitin g a veh icle, you should alw ays
shift the veh icle into “P” (Park ), rem ove the key from
the ign ition , and apply the park ing brak e. Once the
key is rem oved from the ign ition , the tran smission
selector lever is lock ed in the “P” (Park ) position ,
secu rin g the veh icle again st unwanted movem ent.
Furth erm ore, you should never leave child ren unat-
ten ded insid e a veh icle.
The selector lever is autom atically locked while in the
“P” (Park) position. To move the selector lever out of the
“P” (Park) position, the brake pedal must be firm ly
depressed before the shift lock will release.

Shift the selector lever to the desired position only when
the engine is idling norm ally and the brake pedal is
applied. Do not release the brake until read y to drive. The
vehicle may otherw ise accelerate quickly when the selec-
tor lever is in “D” (Drive) or “R” (Reverse) position.

I have mobile mechanic and my window wouldn't roll up. The fuses weren't labeled so I downloaded the Manuel and "boom" there we have it. No driving to 16 places looking. Lovviinng it!
