Towing Requirements

To prom ote prop er break-in of you r new vehicle driv-
etrain components the follow ing guidelines are recom -
mend ed:
Improp er tow ing can lead to an injury accid ent.
Follow these guidelin es to make you r trailer tow ing
as safe as possib le:
CAUTIO N!
Make certain that the load is secu red in the trailer
and it will not shift durin g travel. When trailerin g
cargo that is not fully secu red , dynamic load shifts
can occur that may be difficu lt for the driver to
control. You could lose control of you r veh icle and
have an accid ent.

Avoid tow ing a trailer for the first 500 miles (805
km) of veh icle operation . Doin g so may damage
you r veh icle.

Durin g the first 500 miles (805 km) of trailer
tow ing, lim it you r speed to 50 mph (80 km/h).

When hau ling cargo, or tow ing a trailer, do not
overload you r vehicle or trailer. Overload ing can cause
a loss of control, poor perform ance, or damage to
brakes, axle, engine, transm ission, steering, suspen-
sion, chassis stru cture, or tires.
Perform the maintenance listed in Section 8 of this
manu al. When tow ing a trailer, never exceed the GAWR,
or GCWR, ratings.

I have mobile mechanic and my window wouldn't roll up. The fuses weren't labeled so I downloaded the Manuel and "boom" there we have it. No driving to 16 places looking. Lovviinng it!
