The mode control knob also controls the
Automatic Temperature Control — If Equipped
recircu lation featu re. You can choose Bi-
Level Recircu lation air outlets, Panel Recir-
culation air outlets, or a mix or both while in
this mode. Norm ally, air enters from outsid e the
vehicle. However, when in Recircu lation mode air
insid e the vehicle is re-u sed . Use this mode to cool the
insid e of the vehicle rap idly. The Recircu lation mode
can also be used to tem porarily block out outsid e
odors, smoke, and dust.
Air Con dition ing Con trol
Press this button to turn on and turn off the air
cond itioning. When the air cond itioning is turned
on, cool dehu midified air will flow throu gh the
outlets selected with the mode control. Press this button
a second time to turn off the air cond itioning. An LED in
the button will illuminate when compressor operation is
selected .

Autom atic Operation
The Infrared Dual-Zone Climate Control System auto-
matically maintains the climate in the cabin of the vehicle
at the comfort levels desired by the driver and passenger.
