THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
Here are som e sim ple step s you can tak e to minimize
the risk of harm from a deployin g airb ag.
5. If a child from 1 to 12 years old must rid e in the front
passenger seat becau se the vehicle is crow ded, move the
seat as far back as possible, and use the prop er child
restraint (refer to inform ation on Child Restraint in this
section).

led up in the rear seat. Never allow child ren to slide the
shou lder belt behind them or und er their arm .
