MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE
449
Your leather upholstery can be best preserved by regu lar
cleaning with a damp soft cloth. Small particles of dirt
can act as an abrasive and damage the leather upholstery
and shou ld be rem oved prom ptly with a damp cloth.
Stubborn soils can be rem oved easily with a soft cloth
and Mop ar Total Clean or equ ivalent. Care shou ld be
taken to avoid soaking you r leather upholstery with any
liqu id. Please do not use polishes, oils, cleaning fluids,
solvents, detergents, or ammonia-based cleaners to clean
you r leather upholstery. Application of a leather cond i-
tioner is not requ ired to maintain the original cond ition.
Clean ing Head ligh ts
Your vehicle has plastic head lights that are lighter and
less susceptible to stone breakage than glass head lights.
Plastic is not as scratch resistant as glass and therefore
different lens cleaning proced ures must be follow ed.
To minim ize the possibility of scratching the lenses and
red ucing light output, avoid wiping with a dry cloth. To
rem ove road dirt, wash with a mild soap solu tion fol-
lowed by rinsing.
Do not use abrasive cleaning components, solvents, steel
wool or other aggressive material to clean the lenses.
