PARKING BRAKE
The parking brake shou ld alw ays be applied when the
driver is not in the vehicle.

cle’s traction capabilities. Do not exceed 5 mph (8
km/h) when drivin g throu gh stan ding water.

Drivin g throu gh stan ding water lim its you r veh i-
cle’s brak ing capabilities, which increases stop -
ping distan ces. Therefore, after drivin g throu gh
stan ding water, drive slow ly and ligh tly press on
the brak e pedal several tim es to dry the brak es.
Never use “P” (Park ) position on an autom atic tran s-
mission as a substitu te for the park ing brak e. Alw ays
apply park ing brak e fully when park ed to guard
again st veh icle movem ent and possib le injury or
damage.

Gettin g water insid e you r veh icle’s engin e can
cause it to lock up and stall out and leave you
stran ded.
When parking on a flat surface, place the gear selector in
the “P” (Park) position first, and then apply the parking
brake.
Failu re to follow these warn ings may resu lt in
injuries that are seriou s or fatal to you , you r
passen gers, and oth ers arou nd you .
When parking on a hill, it is important to apply the
parking brake before placing the gear selector in P (Park),

I have mobile mechanic and my window wouldn't roll up. The fuses weren't labeled so I downloaded the Manuel and "boom" there we have it. No driving to 16 places looking. Lovviinng it!
