“D” (Drive)
CAUTIO N!
This range shou ld be used for most city and highw ay
driving. It provid es the smoothest upshifts and down-
shifts and the best fuel econom y.
Coastin g the veh icle or drivin g for any oth er reason
with selector lever in NEUTRAL can resu lt in tran s-
mission damage.
The transm ission autom atically upshifts throu gh fifth
gear. The “D” (Drive) position provid es optimum driving
characteristics und er all norm al operating cond itions.
WARN ING!
When frequ ent transm ission shifting occurs when using
the Overd rive range, such as when operating the vehicle
und er heavy load ing cond itions (in hilly terrain, travel-
ing into strong head wind s, or while tow ing heavy
trailers, use the AutoStick mode and select the “3”
range.

Do not coast in “N” (Neutral) and never turn off the
ign ition to coast down a hill. These are unsafe
practices that lim it you r resp onse to changin g traffic
or road condition s. You migh t lose control of the
veh icle and have an accid ent.
AutoStick Gear selection
The AutoStick featu re can be selected by pressing the
selector lever to the right or the left with the lever in the
“D” (Drive) position. The gear currently selected is
ind icated in the instru ment cluster display. Briefly, press

I have mobile mechanic and my window wouldn't roll up. The fuses weren't labeled so I downloaded the Manuel and "boom" there we have it. No driving to 16 places looking. Lovviinng it!
