For vehicles equ ipped with the EVIC, the power wind ow
switches will rem ain active for up to 60 minu tes after the
ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position. Opening
either front door will cancel this featu re. The time is
program mable. For details, refer to “Delay Pow er Off to
Accessories Until Exit,” und er “Personal Settings (Cus-
tom er Program mable Featu res),” und er “Electronic Ve-
hicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)” in Section 4 of this
manu al.
WARN ING!
There is no anti-p inch protection when the window
is alm ost closed . Be sure to clear all objects from the
window before closin g.
Win dow Lockout Switch
The wind ow lockou t switch on the driver’s door trim
panel allow s you to disable the wind ow controls on the
passenger doors. To disable the wind ow controls, press
and release the wind ow lock button (setting it in the
down position). To enable the wind ow controls, press
and release the wind ow lock button again (setting it in
the up position).
NOTE:
•
If the wind ow runs into any obstacle during auto-
closu re, it will reverse direction and then stop . Remove
the obstacle and use the wind ow switch again to close
the wind ow.
