correct tightness of each lug nu t is 100 ft/ lb. (135 N. m).
If in doubt abou t the correct tightness, have them
checked with a torqu e wrench by you r dealer or at a
service station.

Take care to avoid th e rad iator coolin g fan when ever th e hood is
raised . It can start an ytim e th e ign ition sw itch is on . You can be hurt
by th e fan .

For vehicles equ ipped with center caps, install the
center cap by hand . Do not use a ham mer or excessive
force to install the center cap.
Do not attem pt to push or tow you r veh icle to get it started . Vehicles
eq uip ped with an au tom atic tran sm ission can not be started th is
way. Un burn ed fu el cou ld en ter th e catalytic con verter an d on ce th e
en gin e has started , ign ite an d dam age th e con verter an d veh icle. If
th e veh icle has a disch arged battery, booster cab les may be used to
ob tain a start from an oth er veh icle. Th is typ e of start can be
dan gerou s if don e im prop erly, so follow th is proced ure carefu lly.

Stow the jack, tools, and spare tire. Make sure the base
of the jack faces the rear of the vehicle before tightening
down the fastener.

Battery flu id is a corrosive acid solu tion ; do not allow battery flu id
to con tact eyes, sk in , or cloth in g. Don ’t lean over battery when
attach in g clam ps or allow th e clam ps to tou ch each oth er. If acid
sp lash es in eyes or on sk in , flu sh con tam in ated area im med iately
with large quan tities of water.

A loose tire or jack throw n forw ard in a collision or
hard stop could endanger the occupants of the ve-
hicle. Alw ays stow the jack parts and the spare tire in
the places provid ed.

Do not use a booster battery or an y oth er booster sou rce with an

I have mobile mechanic and my window wouldn't roll up. The fuses weren't labeled so I downloaded the Manuel and "boom" there we have it. No driving to 16 places looking. Lovviinng it!
