UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
To Accelerate For Passing:
Dep ress the accelerator as you would norm ally. When the
pedal is released , the vehicle will retu rn to the set speed .
OVERHEAD CONSOLE — IF EQUIPPED
This featu re has a compass/ tem peratu re display and two
map lamps. The overhead console is located on the
head liner betw een the sun visors.
Usin g Speed Con trol On Hills
NOTE: The speed control system maintains speed up
and down hills. A slight speed change on moderate hills
is norm al.
Vehicles equ ipped with four speed autom atic transaxles
may experience a downshift to 3rd gear while climbing
uphill or descend ing downhill. This downshift to 3rd
gear is necessary to maintain vehicle set speed .
On steep hills a greater speed loss or gain may occur so
it may be preferable to drive withou t speed control.
