THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
Central Locking/Unlocking — If Equipped
4. A single chim e will sou nd to signify that you have
successfu lly disabled the double activation featu re.
All vehicle doors and liftgate are locked with the first
turn of the key to the LOCK position. The double unlock
activation featu re requ ires you to turn the key in the
cylind er lock two times within five second s to UNLOCK
all vehicle doors and liftgate at once. You may turn this
featu re off and unlock all the doors and liftgate with one
turn of the key by follow ing these instru ctions.
You can turn the featu re back on by rep eating the above
mentioned proced ure.
Automatic Door Locks — If Equipped
The doors will lock autom atically if:

NOTE: Steps 2 and 3 must be completed within 10

vehicle speed is above 15 mph (24 km/ h),
the accelerator pedal is depressed .

Close all doors and place the key in the ignition
switch.
The Autom atic Door Locks can be enabled or disabled by
perform ing the follow ing proced ure:

Cycle the ignition switch ON/ OFF four times end ing
in the OFF position.
NOTE: Steps 2 and 3 must be completed within 10
second s.

Press the interior door lock switch to the UNLOCK
position.
1. Close all doors and place the key in the ignition
switch.
