When parking on a hill, it is important to set the parking
brake before placing the gear selector in Park, otherw ise
the load on the autom atic transaxle locking mechanism
may make it difficult to move the selector out of Park. As
an added precau tion, turn the front wheels tow ard the
curb on a downhill grad e and away from the curb on a
uphill grad e.

Don’t leave the keys in the ign ition . A child could
operate power windows, oth er controls, or move

ing the vehicle.

failu re and an accid ent.
