Insert a blank Sentry Key into the ignition switch and
STEERING WHEEL LOCK — IF EQUIPPED
turn the ignition switch ON within 60 second s. After 10
second s a single chim e will sou nd . The Theft Alarm Light
will stop flashing, turn on for 3 second s; then turn off.
Your vehicle may be equ ipped with a passive steering
wheel lock. This lock prevents steering the vehicle with-
out the ignition key. If the steering wheel is moved no 2
more than 1/ 2 turn in either direction and the key is not
in the ignition switch, the steering wheel will lock.
The new Sentry Key has been program med.
Repeat this proced ure to program up to a total of 8 keys.
If you do not have a program med sentry key, contact
you r dealer for details.
If You Wish To Manually Lock The Steering
Wheel:
With the engine running, turn the steering wheel upside
down, turn off the engine and rem ove the key. Turn the
steering wheel slightly in either direction until the lock
engages.

the right or left to disengage the lock.
