Battery flu id is a corrosive acid solu tion ; do not
allow battery flu id to contact eyes, skin or cloth ing.
Don’t lean over battery when attach ing clam ps or
allow the clam ps to tou ch each oth er. If acid splash es
in eyes or on skin, flu sh the contam inated area
immediately with large quantities of water.
A battery gen erates hydrogen gas which is flam -
mable and explosive. Keep flam e or spark away
from the ven t holes. Do not use a booster battery or
any oth er booster sou rce with an output that exceed s

If the vehicle is equ ipped with Sentry Key Immobi-
lizer, turn the ignition switch to the ON position for 3
second s before moving the ignition switch to the START
position.

Connect the other cable, first to the negative term inal
of the booster battery and then to the negative jump start
term inal, located near the hood release latch, of the
vehicle with the discharged battery. Make sure you have
a good contact.
