BATTERY
Yourvehicleis

batterywhichnormally

additionalwaterduring
itslifeofservice.
However,forsevereusageorinhightemperature
climates,checkthebatteryelectrolytelevel.Referto
thescheduledmaintenanceguidefortheservice
intervalschedules.
Keeptheelectrolytelevelineachcelluptothe

levelindicator”.Donotoverfillthebattery
cells.
Iftheelectrolytelevelinthebatteryislow,youcan
addplaintapwatertothebattery,aslongasyoudo
notusehardwater(waterwithahighmineralor
alkalicontent).Ifpossible,however,trytoonlyfill
thebatterycellswithdistilledwater.Ifthebattery
needswateroften,havethechargingsystem
checked.
Ifyourbatteryhasacover/shield,makesureit
isreinstalledafterthebatteryhasbeen
cleanedorreplaced.
