Vehicle sensitive mode
Thisisthenormalretractormode,whichallowsfree
shoulderbeltlengthadjustmenttoyourmovements
andlockinginresponsetovehiclemovement.For
example,ifthedriverbrakessuddenlyorturnsa
cornersharply,orthevehiclereceivesanimpactof
approximately8km/h(5mph)ormore,the
combinationsafetybeltswilllocktohelpreduce
forwardmovementofthedriverandpassengers.
Automatic locking mode
Theautomaticlockingmodeisnotavailableonthe
driversafetybelt.
Whentousetheautomaticlockingmode
Inthismode,theshoulderbeltisautomatically
pre-locked.Thebeltwillstillretracttoremoveany
slackintheshoulderbelt.Theautomaticlocking
modeisnotavailableonthedriversafetybelt.
Thismodeshouldbeusedanytimeachildsafety
seatisinstalledinapassengerfrontoroutboard
rearseatingposition(ifequipped).Children12years
oldandundershouldbeproperlyrestrainedinthe
rearseatwheneverpossible.RefertoSafety
