SecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisanengine
immobilizationsystem.Thissystemisdesignedto
preventtheenginefrombeingstartedunlessa
codedkeyprogrammedtoyourvehicleisused.
Theuseofthewrongtypeofcodedkeymayleadto
a“no-start”condition.
Yourvehiclecomeswithtwocodedkeys;additional
codedkeysmaybepurchasedfromyourdealer.The
dealercanprogramyoursparekeystoyourvehicle
oryoucanprogramthekeysyourself.Referto
Programmingsparekeysforinstructionsonhow
toprogramthecodedkey.

notcompatiblewithnon-Fordaftermarketremote
startsystems.Useofthesesystemsmayresultin

secondcodedkeyonthesamekeychainmaycause
vehiclestartingissues.Youneedtopreventthese
objectsfromtouchingthecodedkeywhilestarting
theengine.Theseobjectswillnotcausedamageto
thecodedkey,butmaycauseamomentaryissueif
theyaretooclosetothekeywhenstartingthe
