additionstoobtaina50/50coolantconcentration.
Whenevercoolanthasbeenadded,thecoolantlevel
inthecoolantreservoirshouldbecheckedthenext
fewtimesyoudrivethevehicle.Ifnecessary,add
enough50/50concentrationofenginecoolantand
distilledwatertobringtheliquidleveltotheproper
level.
Ifyouhavetoaddmorethan1.0liter(1.0quart)of
enginecoolantpermonth,haveyourdealercheck
theenginecoolingsystem.Yourcoolingsystemmay
havealeak.Operatinganenginewithalowlevelof
coolantcanresultinengineoverheatingandpossible
enginedamage.
Recycled engine coolant
FordMotorCompanydoesNOTrecommendtheuse
ofrecycledenginecoolantinvehiclesoriginally
equippedwithMotorcraftPremiumGoldEngine
CoolantsinceaFord-approvedrecyclingprocessis
notyetavailable.
Usedenginecoolantshouldbedisposedofin
anappropriatemanner.Followyourcommunity’s
regulationsandstandardsforrecyclinganddisposing
ofautomotivefluids.
