childrensitwheretheycanbeproperly
restrained.
Neverletapassengerholdachildonhisor
herlapwhilethevehicleismoving.The
passengercannotprotectthechildfrominjuryina
collision.
Alloccupantsofthevehicle,includingthe
driver,shouldalwaysproperlyweartheir
safetybelts,evenwhenanairbag(SRS)is
provided.
Itisextremelydangeroustorideinacargo
area,insideoroutsideofavehicle.Ina
collision,peopleridingintheseareasaremore
likelytobeseriouslyinjuredorkilled.Donotallow
peopletorideinanyareaofyourvehiclethatis
notequippedwithseatsandsafetybelts.Besure
everyoneinyourvehicleisinaseatandusinga
safetybeltproperly.
Inarollovercrash,anunbeltedpersonis
significantlymorelikelytodiethanaperson
wearingasafetybelt.
