onseatback(ifequipped),childsafetyseatLATCH
andtetheranchors,andattachinghardware,should
beinspectedafteracollision.FordMotorCompany
recommendsthatallsafetybeltassembliesusedin
vehiclesinvolvedinacollisionbereplaced.However,
ifthecollisionwasminorandaqualifiedtechnician
findsthatthebeltsdonotshowdamageand
continuetooperateproperly,theydonotneedtobe
replaced.Safetybeltassembliesnotinuseduringa
collisionshouldalsobeinspectedandreplacedif
eitherdamageorimproperoperationisnoted.
Failuretoinspectandifnecessaryreplace
thesafetybeltassemblyundertheabove
conditionscouldresultinseverepersonalinjuries
intheeventofacollision.
