vehiclearecombinationlapandshoulderbelts.The
frontpassengerandrearseatoutboardsafetybelts
havetwotypesoflockingmodesdescribedbelow:

Thisvehiclehasasafetybeltsystemwithan
energymanagementfeatureatthefrontseating
positionstohelpfurtherreducetheriskofinjury
intheeventofahead-oncollision.
•
Thissafetybeltsystemhasaretractorassembly
thatisdesignedtopayoutwebbingina
controlledmanner.Thisfeatureisdesignedto
helpreducethebeltforceactingonthe
occupant’ schest.
Afteranyvehiclecollision,thesafetybelt
systematalloutboardseatingpositions
(exceptdriver,whichhasno“automaticlocking
retractor”feature)mustbecheckedbyaqualified
techniciantoverifythatthe“automaticlocking
retractor”featureforchildseatsisstillfunctioning
properly.Inaddition,allsafetybeltsshouldbe
checkedforproperfunction.
