yourkneeonthechild

Allowthesafetybelttoretracttoremoveany
slackinthebelt.

Beforeplacingthe
childintheseat,
forciblymovetheseat
forwardandbackto
makesuretheseatis
securelyheldinplace.
Tocheckthis,grabthe
seatatthebeltpath
andattempttomoveit
sidetosideandforward.Thereshouldbenomore
thanoneinchofmovementforproperinstallation.

Trytopullthebeltoutoftheretractortomake
suretheretractorisintheautomaticlockingmode
(youshouldnotbeabletopullmorebeltout).Ifthe
retractorisnotlocked,unbucklethebeltandrepeat
stepstwothroughnine.
Checktomakesurethechildseatisproperly
securedbeforeeachuse.
