Followalltheimportantsafetyrestraintandairbag
precautionsthatapplytoadultpassengersinyour
vehicle.
Iftheshoulderbeltportionofacombinationlapand
shoulderbeltcanbepositionedsoitdoesnotcross
orrestinfrontofthechildsfaceorneck,thechild
shouldwearthelapandshoulderbelt.Movingthe
childclosertothecenterofthevehiclemayhelp
provideagoodshoulderbeltfit.
Donotleavechildren,unreliableadults,or
petsunattendedinyourvehicle.

yearsofage.Althoughthelap/shoulderbeltwill
providesomeprotection,thesechildrenarestilltoo
smallforlap/shoulderbeltstofitproperly,which

Toimprovethefitofboththelapandshoulderbelt
onchildrenwhohaveoutgrownchildsafetyseats,
FordMotorCompanyrecommendsuseofa
belt-positioningbooster.
