wear,andwillrise
whenthebrake
componentsare
replaced.Fluidlevelsbelowthe“MAX”linethatdo
nottriggerthebrakesystemwarninglampare
withinthenormaloperatingrange,thereisnoneed
toaddfluid.Ifthefluidlevelsareoutsideofthe
normaloperatingrange,theperformanceofyour
brakesystemcouldbecompromised,seekservice
fromyourdealerimmediately.
CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT (IF EQUIPPED)
Checktheclutch
adjustment.Referto
thescheduled
maintenanceguidefor
theserviceinterval
schedules.
Theclutchonyour
vehicleisoperatedbya
cable.Asnecessary,adjusttheclutchasdescribed
below.

Turntheengineoffandshiftinto1(First).
Putyourfootundertheclutchpedalandgently
pullitupuntilthepedalstops.

Pushtheclutchpedaldownslowly.Youwillheara
clickastheclutchadjustsitself.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Checking automatic transmission fluid
(if equipped)
Refertoyourscheduledmaintenanceguidefor
scheduledintervalsforfluidchecksandchanges.
Yourtransmissiondoesnotconsumefluid.However,
thefluidlevelshouldbecheckedifthetransmission
isnotworkingproperly,i.e.,ifthetransmissionslips
orshiftsslowlyorifyounoticesomesignoffluid
leakage.
