loweranchorsintheseattohelpattachachildseat
withrigidattachments.Theguidesholdtheseat
trimawaytoexposetheanchorandmakeiteasier
toattachsomechildseats.
AttachLATCHlowerattachmentsofthe
childseatonlytotheanchorsshown.
IfyouinstallachildseatwithrigidLATCH
attachments,donottightenthetetherstrapenough
toliftthechildseatoffthevehicleseatcushion
whenthechildisseatedinit.Keepthetetherstrap
justsnugwithoutliftingthefrontofthechildseat.
Keepingthechildseatjusttouchingthevehicleseat
givesthebestprotectioninaseverecrash.
Eachtimeyouusethesafetyseat,checkthatthe
seatisproperlyattachedtotheloweranchorsand
tetheranchor.Trytotiltthechildseatfromsideto
side.Alsotrytotugtheseatforward.Checktosee
iftheanchorsholdtheseatinplace.
Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,
theriskofachildbeinginjuredinacrash
greatlyincreases.
