Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC). Refer to
“Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC)” in Sec-
tion 4 of this manu al. (See page 187 for more inform a-
tion.) To turn ESP on again, momentarily depress the
“ESP Control Switch”. This will restore the norm al “Par-
tial Off” mode of operation in 4wd low range.

system shu ts off. ESP is off at low vehicle speed s in 4WD
low range so that it will not interfere with off-road
driving but ESP function retu rns to provid e the stability
featu re at speed s above 30 mph (48 km/ h). The ЉESP/
TCS Ind icator LightЉ will alw ays be illuminated in 4WD
low range when ESP is off.

NOTE:
The “ESP OFF” message will display and the
audible chim e will sou nd when the gear selector is
placed into the “P” (Park) position from any position
other than “P” (Park), and then moved out of the “P”
(Park) position. This will occur even if the message was
previou sly cleared .
FullOff
This mode is intend ed for off-highw ay or off-road use
when ESP stability featu res could inhibit vehicle maneu -
verability due to trail cond itions. This mode is entered by
depressing and hold ing the “ESP Control Switch” for 5
second s when the vehicle is stop ped and the engine is
running. In this mode, all ESP and TCS stability featu res
are turned off excep t for the “limited slip” featu re de-
scribed in the TCS section. After 5 second s, a chim e will
sou nd , and the “ESP OFF” message will appear in the
